If SOCIAL SERVICES takes your children from you, and you have another child ,will they take that kid too? |
i have physical custody of my niece, the mom is crazy, social services took all 4 of her kids in 2003, she keeps appealing everything so we are struggling to get to the adoption stage. anyway, this loonatic went and got pregnant again, will social services take this new child too? It is a very good possibility. Smetimes though they may go forward and take all 4 kids but then try a supervision plan and another chance to comply for atime-y'know, classes-nutrition,parenting.etc-frustrat... as that may sound but statistically speaking she has a more than 50% chance of losing that one too-especially if she has other mitigating circumstances such as mental illnes, addiction etc. I believe so, and I hope so. It is highly likely that they will. Let's hope that the child is not harmed before they do. In certain cases they may take custody of the child and sometimes they don't. Depending on the cirumstances. So if the state doen't feel like the child is in any danger the other child present may not be removed, if the situation look too strange or shady they may remove the child. I do not know where you are loacted. However, unfortuantly up here in Toronto Canada. No! I had this one neighbour that had her eldest taken from her, but she still has her 2 younger ones. Talk about the sytem being messed up. They should and probably will! I would hope so. Yes... sad to say but most likely not ,they will wait and see how she does with this child !!!I know they should also take this child as well ,but the system is crazy when it comes to some of this stuff ,I hope she dont have another without them taking it to . Yes, they usually do. Unfortunately, in the last 6 months, two children have died while in the custody of the Children's Protective Services here in Clark County, Nevada. No one is releasing any news as to why these children died. Good luck with your appeals. Children need to be safe from those who would harm them. If her circumstances have not changed then they will she may change where she is living and get treatment then apply again but usually that takes years. No they shouldn't take the child if the mother shows good behavior. it depends on alot of things the resaon they were taken ect... but in most casies if she has the child in another state she will get to keep it or if they feel the child is in no danger they will let her keep it They will not automatically take the child unless it is proved that she will harm or neglect the new baby. If she is on drugs, involved in criminal activity, or mentally unfit you can work with the child advocate to get the courts to give you custody of the baby. Do you have an attorney?
