Was winston churchill's life saved by his guardian angel? |
i seem to remember i read somewher that churchill's life was saved when he was in charge of the admiralty, by his guardian angel. apparently he was about to get into a car when he was told "no" as he walked away the car was blown up. is this true? Yes his name was Walter H thompson, google him yes I'd be very surprised indeed if Winston Churchill paid heed to any talk of guardian angels or other, similar poppycock. Okay are you asking do I believe in guardian angels? Well of course, there is Gabriel etc....... We all have an element of a watcher, but this is not visible to the human eye! There are some who believe in intuition - and even those who take head from their God.......It's just about taking the right steps in life, be the best you can, and don't let others' jeopardise your chances in life, live and learn, watch out for those who will lead you astray and those who will be nice to your face but behind your back they enjoy nothing more than seeing you fall!!!!! Winston Churchill (and my history is not so good), was a leader who the earth will always talk about, look we are today and this will happen in years to come (hopefully). I never heard that story and I suspect there is more urban legend than fact in that story. Churchill had many near misses in his active life right back to the Boer war and although i could never see him accepting guardian angels i will always have respect for him he was a brave man during the war years especially//oh yes i know well there was another side to him but that was Churchill and none of us would be here now without his staunch attitude to Hitler when everyone else had given in Dont know but the chap who went to see Churchills Grave in Baden the chaps wife said he saw the Shingle move around the grave,,,,,, and 3 weeks later the chap was underneath his car and the jacks holding the car up collapsed and the chap was killed so he was not so lucky has Sir Winston,,,,,, "What guardian angel watched over the boy who was to take part in the last great cavalry charge, be captured by the Boers, escape and have a price put on his head, enter Parliament at the age of twenty-five and there serve six monarchs, fight in the trenches, be twice prime minister, write forty-four books and receive the Nobel Prize for Literature, paint more than one hundred pictures and be made an Honorary Royal academician, become a Knight of the Garter and an Honorary Citizen of the United States of America, and be honoured, decorated and revered in all corners of the earth?" |
